What is the Glider Operations Group?

The Glider Ground Operations Group consists of Senior Members who are trained in Glider Ground Operations and who actively support the Glider Program.

How can I get involved?

Any Senior Member can get involved as a Glider Ground Operations Specialist. You will need to:

• Take the online Wing Runner Course and pass the online final exam.
• View the online Aircraft Ground Handling video.
• Come to the glider port and get on the job training.

What's in it for me?

You will be providing support to the Cadet Program by helping our Cadets with their Orientation flights. Also, depending upon time and pilot availability, you may be able to take flights in the glider! (Please note that you may be responsible for paying for your own aero tows.)
